Hello there i was wondering if anybody knows how to fit a throttle pot on a pride go-go, i was told i needed a new one, but before i buy i wanted to know if i could fix it in?

Hello there i was wondering if anybody knows how to fit a throttle pot on a pride go-go, i was told i needed a new one, but before i buy i wanted to know if i could fix it in?

There are only 3 or 4 screws (Handlebars section), do not remove the really long ones, take top cover off carefully I used a piece of tape to hold it up there are 2 screws holding the throttle lever onto control itself,take them out then only 2 screws hold the pot itself make sure you unplug wiring harness then take 2 screws out reverse process it is very easy to change good luck
